I've filmed for production companies and brands all around the world; but in the end, my heart fell into weddings. I love it more than any other kind of production. To me, there's something so special and perfect about being able to be with a couple on their most important day. I've found my dream job, and every wedding I film, I get to be inspired and uplifted by couples like you.
Outside of weddings, I love spontaneous activities with my wife and our friends. We've tried it all, blindfolded gingerbread house building, buying ridiculous DI outfits for each other for our night out, or seeing who could give each other the most stunning makeup job.
When I make a film, it's not just dropping all the usable clips into the timeline and finding some romantic music. Your story takes a lot of finessing and crafting to get just right, and that means filming and editing with your story in mind. And that's how the emotion of the day comes through in the final film.
I'm experienced with brands and production companies that required the highest quality content. Now, instead of making films to churn profits, I get to use those skills to craft inspiring and heartwarming stories for couples like you.
It doesn't matter if you have the most amazing film, a poor experience on your wedding day is unacceptable. My process is made to give you the most effortless experience, while prioritizing the highest quality product. That's how it is from the booking process, all the way until the final delivery of your film. Don't you have enough to think about already?
WHY I FILM WEDDINGS
I started doing filmmaking in the music, commercial, and travel industry. I learned a lot; like how to compose amazing images with technical and artistic skills, and directing stories and actors to sell a product or evoke certain emotions. I've even been the cinematographer for a film that premiered in New York City; some of the audience flew in from as far as Australia to come see it.
I was well paid and got to travel the world making these amazing films, but it was pretty empty. It could never compare to the feeling of fulfillment from being a wedding filmmaker. And being able to use my skills to enhance a couple's most important day of their life is something I love doing over and over.
My wife and I obsess over our own wedding film; that's what inspired me to film weddings in the first place. Our filmmaker overdelivered, and gave us an incredible film we watch over and over. And knowing that I'm able to give that same feeling to other couples is the reason I became a wedding filmmaker in the first place.
